Volunteer and Internship Experience
Crisis Counselor at National Crisis Textline
2021-Present
As a crisis counselor, I underwent an intensive 30-hour training to be certified in skills such as crisis intervention, de-escalation, active listening, and mandated reporting for vulnerable populations. I assist texters in crisis and address issues such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, bullying, and LGBTQ+ related issues.
Donation and Foodbank Support at Homeward Alliance
2021
As a donation and foodbank support volunteer I assisted staff at the Murphy Center for Hope by helping with intake, sorting, and organizing of community donations as well as served hot food and beverage to Colorodoans experiencing Homelessness.
Campus Outreach For Rams for Progress "No on Prop 115" Campaign

As a campus outreach volunteer I assisted CSU's Rams for Progress campaign through reaching out to local businesses for support, putting up flyers, and communicating with students and the Fort Collins community through social media to raise awareness of the campaigns mission and events.

As a studio project intern I was responsible for event planning and coordination, procuration of donations from local businesses, designing event flyers, as well as contacting non-profit organizations, artists, and musicians to create youth-focused events addressing various social issues faced by teenagers living in Boulder.
